Contactless may be another phrase that’s become a bit of a catch-all, but we use it here in a way that’s more complete - no contact with anything that is required to enter a secured area…not even an access card. Cards themselves can be dirty little germ carriers as you move through your day touching hundreds of objects and surfaces, and they can certainly be ‘convenience killers’ – introducing a whole lot of friction into the access control experience.
